Wouldn't You Just Know It!

So yesterday Abby's nurse came home from school with Abbs and she mentioned that Abby will be on Fall break for the next two weeks... Uh-oh... I ran to my computer looked up my boys schedule and low and behold they too are on Fall break until the 26th starting the 9th! GREAT this is the problem living in a state with no family, no baby-sitters! So I had to re-schedule Abbs appointment. We are now hospital bound on the 26th until the 30th. I am kinda glad it got post-poned a little while, nothing like putting off yucky stuff!

Thank you to all that left comments & mentioned they will be praying... we'd like to take a rain check on those! You are all wonderful and it is so good to have such an incredible support group out there!!!

We are all doing well, Abby's seizures are increasing still, getting more like hard jolts and lasting a bit longer.... but she keeps smiling and is still her sweet, sweet little self! I have not taken any photos of her in awhile, my camera just "stopped" working awhile ago, thankfully I have another, but am getting used to it... so maybe tomorrow I will practice on her and put some new photos up. She is getting very tall and is pretty skinny. We have an appointment at the gastro's in a week so it will be good to see what he thinks and if he is going to increase again her feeds. I don't want her to get any bigger, she is so long its getting hard to hold her... because of this growth spurt she does not have the core strength to help hold up the extra inches!

Well, again thank you and I will keep you posted ~ Until then... Tam

  1. Oh boy...wow...well glad you were able to get your appt. changed. I will hang up my prayers and pull them down when the time comes ;) I will just fill those prayers with other ones for now!! :D

I saw your comment tonight. We are in CA. I did not want to call you this late so I will try you tomorrow. We are not planning to come to CO at least for now.

I am sure you are already thinking about all the stuff to do with the boys for two weeks! How fun to have them off for a few weeks.

  6. We don't get a fall break, but I would like it. Of course, my twins are seniors so soon all this will be over for me. annabel is just hit or miss. I wish I lived close to watch those two handsome guys. Will still continue to pray for good results.

  7. Fall break sounds like something this teacher sure would like. Sorry it came up so quickly that you forgot. But glad to hear that things will work out. I will continue just as I do every day to pray for your family. That God will calm your fears and worries and that He will hold Abby tight through each of her seizures.

  8. It's good that you will be with your boys for Fall break, but I'm sorry you had to reschedule.

Wow, Tam, I wish I lived closer and could help. Do you have church family that ever helps out? Are you far away from Colorado Springs? I have a friend (that's a pastor's wife) that might be of help.

Ahhh, it just seems like you should have tons of people surrounding you with love, help, and an extra shoulder to cry on or laugh with.

This is going to be my mission when Nathan stablizes a little more. Church families need to be aware of the ministry opportunities that are available in their own church bodies, especially for families like ours.

Hugs to you, and prayers for Abby and the rest of your family.
