O.k. being 40 and having jet lag is NOT a good combo! My body does not know which end is up and I am really struggling! I sure hope I am good to go come Saturday! I can't imagine being this outta it and caring for Abby at the same time! My mom is here and will be until Sat. or Sun. so we are busy with doctors appointments.
I have taken over 1000 photo's and because I am such a perfectionist it is going to take some time for me to get a slide show together! I will update on our incredible trip as soon as I can walk a straight line without drifting off to sleep! I am inhaling coffee by the boat loads just to function during the day!
Oh it is so good to be home and yet my heart longs to be back in Rome! By the by Abby did fantastic!!!!! Our reunion was sweet and full of tears, joyful ones!
Promise I will update soon with photos! Thanks for all your comments and prayers while we were gone! You all are the best!
I HAVE TO ENCOURAGE ALL OF YOU TO TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH AND TRAVEL IF YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY! IT IS SUCH A BLESSING ALL THE WAY AROUND!

I am so glad that you are back. I am so thankful that you had a great time. I cried when I read of you and Abby's reunion and the tears. But yet the longing of your heart to be back in Rome. I will pray for your jetlag and be back daily to watch for your picture.

I can just picture you in Rome- eyes and ears and nose wide open- hands out ready to touch everything to take in the tactile as well as the sights, sounds, and smells. It makes me smile to think of your experience and then smile again knowing you got to see yourboys experiencing it all too. :)
