Trip? What Trip, You Ask?

O.K. So, New Look! What-Cha-Think? I really like this one, so I don't think I will be changing it anytime soon. If you have not noticed I love change, I love to explore and see what else is out there and see if I can modify things myself... Exploring and not giving up is fun and pays off!

O.K. so I lost the poll for our trip when I changed my look, so I will just tell you all the we are going to Du-Du-Du-DUNNNNNN...."ROME" (Loud Scream Inserted Here)! I am so excited, but its still so far off that it has not really sunk in all the way! We are leaving in July and we are all going (along with Matts mom and brother) with the exception of Miss. Schmabadozie.

I know, I know... there is much turmoile going on in my heart, trust me! But, when we think of;

$ Cost
Airport security
A 17.5 hour flight time (BOTH WAYS)
Changing a 4 year old's diapers in small spaces
Medical equipment
Medication
Getting around
& much, much more

It just makes since to leave my angel here, NO... of course not by herself, come on now, what kind of a mother do you think I am ;O)! I am PRAYING that we will have nursing during the day time and I am calling on all my sweet friends from church to ask if they would be willing to spend the nights with her. The only family member that I know of that can help is my mom, if she can bring her sweet nurse friend Tammy along with her... So, much to pray about.

I am scared spit-less when I think of leaving her and being that far away... So I can't go there much right now... will cross that bridge when I get there. God is so good, many are willing to watch her so that is paving the path with peace for now!

Well, not much else to report of, all is the same here at our house. If anyone's ever been to Itally and has tips or places to see, let me know, I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks all again for your continue prayers for our family! Be talking soon!

    Love the new look! Sometimes I think of changing but I find it so hard sometimes just to make a post.

  3. As someone who's been through airports with a wheelchair & meds & blah blah blah. You're making the right decision, from my point of view, you need a vacation just from going through the airport. It's not worth it. I can't even imagine going out of the country with what little I have to have with me. I've flown across country and that was enough. Having them almost leave my chair on the tarmak was enough to stress me out enough to not relax.
